"content": "Praise for a Perfect Pal - As first-time parents welcoming a little human into our hearts and home, whilst a proud achievement, came with many adjustments. The reality of sleepless nights, day/night confusion and changes to a comfortable routine and structure was extremely overwhelming and daunting. However, thanks to the Riff Raff Sleep Toy, our sleep routine quickly became minimally disrupted as Raffy the Fawn helped to promote positive sleep routines whilst comforting, soothing and settling our son when he was in need. The Riff Raff does not replace the snuggles and cuddles before each sleep (at least for now), but it does beautifully compliment him as he drifts into deep and restful naps or sleep. Our son has many other comforters but his Riff Raff trumps all and understandably so. The dual soundbox allows for a calming lullaby or white noise and heartbeat to echo in any room with two volume and timer settings to suit any occasion and space. Additionally, the small piece of velcro allows us to attach our son’s best pal to his pram or cot while he rests; resting us assured that he is sleeping safely and peacefully. After our success with this product, the Riff Raff Sleep Toy and the accompanying range of bath sets, teethers and books will now be the go-to gift for any expecting parents. We consider the Riff Raff to be an essential item as it not only promotes positive sleep routine and structure but introduces your child to aspects of companionship, safety and responsibility. We absolutely recommend this product!",

Before he went to sleep I grabbed Bandit out quickly to see if I could turn the lullaby down a bit as soon as I took him out Marcus cracked it, it was so cute! I can't believe how much he has attached to him in just 1 day. And especially considering he has never had comforters before but mainly just gone to sleep on me. He puts himself to sleep with Bandit without a single cry, which is exactly what I wanted. I'm a real cuddler and don't want Marcus to cry at all before going to sleep. I should mention that Marcus is 1 year old so it truly is amazing how much Bandit has helped him self-settle in the cot when he is used to being cuddled by me'",

He really gravitated to it when he was 5 months (he’s now almost 9 months). It is his sleep comforter, he pulls it in close and is able to put his dummy in if he wants it (love that the dummy can’t fall out of the cot and is attached safely). I was desperate to try anything as for months and months he hadn't and wouldn't sleep in his own bed, and I am so so glad I chose to try riffraff Bandit! Straight away he took to it, and the music lullaby! He became introduced as part of nap and sleep routine and within 2 weeks my son happily now take bandit to bed at night and falls asleep and even for more amazingly without me even in the room. During the day time he will grab bandit and press play on the music as a que he is ready for a sleep, music on and he is out to it in no time! The two of them have a special bond! So handy to have the dummy attachment and my daughter knows once the lullaby starts that it’s time to sleep. She has just learnt to walk and it is so sweet watching her walk around cuddling Clover. "content": "Raffy The Fawn sleep toy- rechargeable - I bought this for my son for his 10 month birthday. He’s now 11 and a half months. I bought it to have a portable white noise machine that he could play with and hold, but also to replace me using the tv or my phone to play white noise (because it needs to be louder since it’s not in the cot with him - annoying right?). This sleep toy has been great because you can adjust the volume with the dial (which is very gradual, unlike a lot of button ones where one press can be a bit much or less than what you want/need), which saves our ears especially when we have to use it at night because we room share. Also, the fact that the sound box is inside the toy is great because the sound filters through the fabric which makes it pleasant/clear to listen to. The portability of the sleep toy is great too. Easily pop it into my nappy bag or strap it to the handlebars of the stroller when we’re out. I use it when breastfeeding in parent rooms to filter any noise that could be distracting, making feeds/naps easier to achieve. It also doubles as an estimate timer for day naps. If it’s off when he wakes I know he’s had 40mins or more. (Or 15 or 30 depending on your setting). What else?.. washable, tick. Rechargeable, tick. Replaceable (both sound box or toy cover), tick. Super cute, tick. Can purchase matching items, tick. Quality, TICK, it’s so well made. OH AND THE ZIPPER!!! How could I forget. There’s nothing worse than having to open Velcro to turn on/ adjust something, especially when Bub is asleep. The zip is super easy, even one handed. (‘Cause who hasn’t been nap trapped? Lol). And this is a random one, but the size of the toys head. All comforters I’ve seen have small heads/toys that basically fit in a child’s hand, but I find the bigger size (even though I know it’s designed to fit the sound box) to be more comforting in the sense that when my son hugs it, the head of the toy is under his chin or on his cheek. The way we feel when we hug our children, you know? :-) Photo as I type. Raffy playing the song behind his head as he breastfeeds to sleep.",

I hesitated to buy because I hate getting sucked into gimmicks and she sleeps well anyway, but if I could go back I'd get it earlier! It's so beautifully made and very soft. I love that we can adjust the volume, we have it low for the evenings and higher in the pram for naps on the go. She loves to fiddle with the blanket and hold her ears. We are creating a night time routine around our Raffy and the goodnight book, the bath set is next on our list. I wonder if you have considered making cot/bassinet sheets as well? Wall decals? Sleep sacks? On second thought, maybe don't do that ... I'd buy all the Raffy things!! The only extremely minor thing I would change is the colours offered for personalisation, perhaps some more soft colours like sage and dusky pink? I think the blue and pink currently on offer don't match the aesthetic of the Riff Raff cuteness. The personalisation itself is great though, strong but soft. Lucy's comforter arrived quickly, and we started introducing it to her straight away. Using the white noise option, her bed time routine has become alot easier and it settles her back to sleep after her night feeds. At only five weeks old she is sleeping/settling much better. As an early childhood teacher I know the benefits of routines and rituals, with Lucy's Riff Raff being a big part of her bed time one. Our original one was gifted at our baby shower and we’ve used it from when home from hospital, safely secured to the outside of the bassinet and then cot. The sight of fox and the calming white noise with heartbeat fast became a sleep cue for our baby. It's been such a comfort for him also not just for sleeping. It's helped him through teething, going on holiday in a new place and whenever he is having one of those toddler tantrum days his panda keeps me sane as he would never take a dummy but would happily settle down with his panda. So because of this, I bought one for my newborn who is now 6 weeks old. I can put him down in his cot drousy, switch on the white noise and he will fall asleep on his own without needing cuddles from mummy and daddy. I have to keep it away from my toddler as he will steal it for himself! The only thing that can be an issue for some people is the batteries seem like they don't always last long. But we just bought a big pack of the cheap ones from Cole's and they work an absolute treat and it's not massive out of pocket expense. We will soon be investing in rechargeable batteries when we can afford it. Overall they help my little ones to sleep, and they're an adorable comfort piece that I have recommended to friends they're that good in my opinion!",

Being a nicu baby they get so used to sounds and noises that they learn to soothe in there. When we brought our Oakleigh home we forgot this was gifted to us by her aunty. And we had a very rough 1st night. 2nd day in we remembered!! Since then bed time and sleep has been so much easier! After we do our bed time routine, it's into our Pjs, into bed and a snuggle with our riff raff sends us off to sleep BY OURSELF! I think without this we wouldn't have had such a easy transition into self settling at bed time! I would recommend a riff raff to anyone 1000x over! We Never leave home without them! On his first day of Daycare at 12 months we packed his \"Raffy-Lu\" as his comforter which further ignited the love between boy and comforter. His educators would turn the lullaby on for him when he was sad to help calm him and used the white noise to assist with sleep. At home each night he slept with Raffy-lu and would proudly hand her to me first of a morning to make sure she came with him. We even bought a second one named Raffington with the intention of using as a spare for those days Raffy-lu needed a bath but that didnt go to plan. Now at 18 months each morning he hands me them both before I pick him up and they come with us to start our day. One will travel with him on Daycare days, both are close by at home throughout the day and he collects them for nap time and bed time and brings them to me so the three of them can be taken to bed. Declan was a decent night sleeper initially but thankfully he had formed a lovely attachment to Raffy so when he went through the 8 month sleep regression recently Raffy was a big help. He doesn’t even get offended when he’s dangled hostage style outside of the cot (after all the dummies have been evicted!) when our son is restless and fighting sleep 😉 He just keeps playing his soothing lullaby until Declan brings him back into the cot and cuddles him to sleep ❤️️ We ended up buying a second Raffy when we started childcare so he would never be without him if he got dirty or left behind accidentally. We bought Clover for our daughter and from day one she simply LOVED Clover! She giggled and smiled when she first held her. Great! We then tried to to help her get to sleep at night also using this toy as we were sleep training her during the 4 month regression. Clover helped her get through the hump and continues to help our daughter self settle whenever she wakes up in the middle of the night. Now, we need Clover wherever we go otherwise she has a very difficult time settling. Our daughter loves using Clover's ear to cover her eyes to block out the sunlight for naps and she likes to stroke Clovers head and then her own to self soothe herself to sleep. :) I just bought another one as back up just in case I have to wash her first one. Then came Bandit. I followed the instructions given, and combined them with a better quality swaddle and using black out curtains to help his day time naps and now not only will our little man take 3 day time naps, but he always sleeps from 7 PM until 7 AM only waking up for feeds. Without a doubt Bandit definitely helps our little man settle (was quickly confirmed this evening when Bandits batteries died right as he was drifting off). My local council's maternal health care nurse recommended a sleeping toy saying I've heard people saying that really helps! I googled sleeping toy reviews and found Riff Raff & Co with excellent reviews. I ordered Raff and introduced that to him which he immediately liked but still took about half an hour to sleep as I would turn the lullaby on. "content": "I had my doubts..... - Got the fox last week - I had my doubts it would work. During the day our 10month old would only stay in the cot for 20 to 40mins at a time during the day and 2 hourly wakes at night at best, and if she opened her eyes when she touched the bed we had to start again. Now she generally does at least 1 hour during the day and after less than a week of giving her the fox night time sleeps are at 4hours till the first wake and getting better, she can also go down while her eyes are barely open now without screaming. - The white noise setting doesn't sound as nice as the pink noise I had put on my phone a few months ago, although I go insane with that noise after tooo long. The lullaby works great, and even helps me to sleep too. - I find that 20mins isn't quite enough though, sometimes it can take 10minutes to get her to into a receptive state to go to bed, so I press the button again to reset the timer, I don't recall seeing that mentioned anywhere. - Thanks riff raft, definitely a well spent $60 (almost half the cost of lulla dolla and a hella lot more cuter to boot. Not that I had to use it but I thought the ability to pay in installments is a great option for those that that are struggling financially and with getting baby to sleep. - I expect even better results in the coming weeks, we were really starting to suffer the effects of disturbed sleep so it's a godsend. - Thank you for making such a great sleep aid.",

She would not be able to sleep in her own bed during the day and only for about 3 hour stretches at night with many times getting up and down to settle her as she’d wake herself up constantly, I put Clover in there with her and used the white noise/heartbeat feature and I am so ecstatic to say she now does 7/8 hour stretches at night and a 2 hour nap in her own bed during the day! Best purchase I have ever made and I’ll definitely be buying a second as a back up. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!",

The difference it has made to our lives is amazing. I bought Clover the Bunny for my daughter Lola when she was 5 weeks old. 3 weeks later and we take her bunny everywhere! For all her day naps, bunny comes with her and plays the white noise. At night if she ever gets unsettled, I switch the bunny on and she instantly settles and falls asleep. I reccomend this to everyone!!! And I am so glad I bit the bullet and purchased one. Thank you Riff Raff team, you've created one amazing AND ESSENTIAL baby item! :)",

"content": "Wow. - I cannot tell anyone enough about Riff Raffs, I bought BANDIT when Cooper was 4 months old (AKA Meeko) in our household. Best thing Ive EVER paid for. He slept to the heart beat for the first 6 months, then we travelled on a plane and found the music better to hear over the engine. He is 19 months old now and takes Meeko everywhere. He gets sooo grubby and dirty I have to sneak it in the washing machine. He no longer uses the noise as I wash him all the time I never put the sound back in. BUT it made daycare transition great, he just carries him around to make him feel better. He learnt to self settle as he associated Meeko with sleep time at 5 months old. My tips to my friends who ALL have one, wear it in your shirt for a few days get your smell on it and give it to them everynight at bed time. I only bought one, I have just made another purchase as I needed a spare as this one gets so dirty. I think hell last forever though, every wash he comes up looking smick again. My mum owns BANDIT, CLOVER and RAFFY as all her grandchildren have them and she has spares when they do sleepovers. Anyway I cannot recommend them enough. I got him out of the washing machine today and Coops took him straight to bed as it was bedtime.. he's not QUITE dry but hey. LOVE is LOVE. Thanks guys!",

When it's not playing the white noise or the lullaby he loves giving it a good cuddle/gripping onto it for dear life and with the weather starting to get cold, it is such a nice soft warm gentle toy to cuddle! Thank you so much Riff Raff & Co! We will definitely be recommending you to our family and friends!",

"content": "The best thing since sliced bread! - I wanted a comforter for my little princess for her to grow attached to and love as she grew up. So we purchased ‘Raffy’. My daughter is only 5 weeks old but we press Raffy’s ear for every sleep time for her to get used to the calming melody so that as she grows up, Raffy will be her comforter that soothes her and helps her to self settle. We love our ‘Raffy’ and are so happy with the quality, cuteness and soothing melody. We can definitely see that this is going to be the best thing in our daughters life that she will grow to love, maybe more then she will love her mummy and daddy!",

"content": "Wonderful routine! - I have purchased the Clover Book and Clover Riff Raff toy for my granddaughter due in January 2023. - I seen first hand how the Riff Raff instantly switches the little bubs from very unsettled one moment to calm and sleeping instantly. - So I thought this is a perfect sensible settling purchase for any routine day and night. - The little one will instantly know its bedtime and 95% of the battle is won. - Thank you Riff Raff for a fantastic \"WONDER PRODUCT\". - It's no-brainer investment, very affordable and well made. - Photos will come once our precious little one arrives. We just can't wait.",

"content": "riff raff - We bought our daughter a riff raff -clover, as soon as we’d heard about them (she was about a month old). throughout all her sleep regressions and just being unsettled or upset her ‘teddy’ has calmed her without fail every time, the softness of the riff raff and using the white noise or the calming lullaby that’s inside the teddy (hands down worlds best invention) i couldn’t recommend them enough! i think the photos below show just how much she loves ‘teddy’ ❤️️",

"content": "No longer sleep deprived 😍 - At first I was really skeptical about spending $65-$80 on just one teddy and thought it would just be a gimmick, but after reading all the reviews and talking to some other first time mums that use them for their bubs and love them I was convinced enough to give it a shot and I am so glad I did! Our little girl started going down for her naps easier during the day and when she began to get fussy while feeding we gave her Raffy and she started drinking better too with no fuss! My partner and I were both so surprised and so relieved! Raffy also helped with the transition from basinet to cot and into her room so easy! Our daughter began to wake every half hour during the night and was just crying constantly so we decided it was time for her own room, the first night we were scared to put Raffy in her cot so we didnt and she only slept 6 hours and stirred a lot, so from the second night onwards we put Raffy in and she has slept 10- 11 hours every night since 😍 - So thank you!! Audrey loves her Raffy and so do we 😍 We would be so lost and sleep deprived without it",
